The most important part of any coating project starts with the prep. By far the most common reason for coating failure arises from a poorly prepared surface. Whether it’s old or brand new concrete, it must be given the proper surface profile for any coatings to adhere correctly.

At Advanced Surfaces by Anderson we start out with a visual on your surface, then grinding off glues, paints and any prior coatings. Next we will repair any superficial issues with the floor and grinding again to open surfaces to accept the epoxy. These steps are necessary to insure you epoxy floors will last for years to come.

Damage-resistant – Epoxy makes floors resistant to chemical spills, stains, and impact. This is one of the best concrete sealers around. It is a non-porous material so pigment will not seep through, causing an ugly stain or any deep damage.
Covers concrete blemishes – Have existing stains and hairline cracks on the floor? Floor epoxy is the answer. We will patch superficial cracks and saw cuts to make a seamless floor. Also, incorporating colors or designs will help disguise any ugly blemishes on the old concrete.

Nowadays, even garage and basement floors can be treated like an extension of a home’s living space with epoxy coatings. Easy to clean and maintain – Epoxy floors do not absorb liquids or even dirt, even without supplementary concrete sealers. In fact, dust just sits on top of it, thus, making it easy to sweep and mop.
